The season of curators' meetings with first-year students has finished

Curators' team helps first-year students to adapt to their studies

Our faculty has a team of curators who help students adapt to their studies and life at the Higher School of Economics. Curators are always ready to answer questions, help find the right contacts and support students in the first months of their student life.

This year, the first-year students took part in five events: starting with an introduction to the faculty and ending with a heartwarming guitar party at Pokrovka. In addition, a board games festival, PowerPoint Night and a picnic in Gorky Park were held during the month. The incoming students got acquainted with their stream, made new friends and had a break from their academic routine.

Curators also played a key role in organising a meeting with the faculty administration and conducted an adaptation programme for first-year students. Special attention was paid to the webinar on Basic Safety Training, where the mentors helped to understand the new assignment and answered any questions that arose.

The Curators team consists of 16 people and everyone has an important role to fulfil, from leadership and coordination to the layout and design of announcements. We look forward to seeing future curators at the selection next spring, stay tuned!
