The International Laboratory of Microphysiological Systems organized and conducted a conference with international participation at the Faculty of Biology and Biotechnology of the National Research University Higher School of Economics

The conference was held on 11 July 2024

In the conference ‘Chemotherapy resistance and tumor progression. Approaches to the study of pathological conditions‘ were attended by students and postgraduates of all scientific laboratories of the Faculty, as well as the staff of the Basic Department of the Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry named after Academicians M.M. Shemyakin and Y.A. Ovchinnikov of the Russian Academy of Sciences and invited colleagues from abroad.

The conference was devoted to modern ideas about the mechanisms of resistance of different types of tumors to drug therapy and ways to overcome it, the process of metastatic spread of tumors throughout the human body, as well as modern approaches to the study of pathological conditions, including tumor diseases.
