A series of seminars and practical classes of the Laboratory «Methods of tissue engineering using click chemistry»

From October 17 to 28, 2022 a series of seminars and workshops led by Dmitri Rogozhnikov took place at the Research on Molecular Mechanisms of Longevity.

Dmitry Rogozhnikov, PhD. Postdoctoral Fellow, University of Oxford, Laboratory of Biological Chemistry. PhD 2018 (York University, Toronto). Specialist in the field of regenerative medicine, bioengineering and engineering of artificial tissues and organs. Main scientific achievement: creation of living tissues using bioorthogonal clique chemistry.

Seminar topics:

- Bioorthogonal click chemistry as a frameless method for assembling cells into living tissues;

- Protein nanopores as sensors in biotechnology and molecular biology;

- Use of lipid bilayers for 3D printing of human tissues;

- Protein nanopores as components of synthetic biomicrostructures. Use of synthetic biomicrostructures in biological research.
