Scientific Seminar on The Role of MicroRNA Molecules in Antitumor and Antiviral Immunity
On January 23, 2023, the Laboratory of Molecular Physiology held a seminar 'The Role of MicroRNA Molecules in Antitumor and Antiviral Immunity'.
The role of microRNAs and their isoforms in regulating the expression of oncogenes and genes involved in the immune response was discussed, along with methods to identify antitumor and antiviral microRNA molecules and their isoforms, and work was planned with The Cancer Genome Atlas project sequencing data sets to find and validate these microRNAs, as well as to build predictive combinations of molecules.
