Laboratory Seminar 'Influence of SARS-CoV-2 VOC Omicron Mutations on the Spectrum of High-Affinity Peptides in the Moscow Population'

On November 15, 2022, the Laboratory of Molecular Physiology held a scientific seminar titled 'The influence of SARS-CoV-2 VOC Omicron mutations on the spectrum of high-affinity peptides in the Moscow population'

Within the framework of the seminar, the article by S.A. Nersisyan and co-authors 'Alterations in SARS-CoV-2 Omicron and Delta peptides presentation by HLA molecules' was discursed. In particular, the questions of diversity of genotypes of class 1 major histocompatibility complex in the Moscow region, differences in the profile of protein-significant mutations in variants of Omicron VOC, and the significance of these mutations for immunodominant epitopes was discussed.
