Laboratory Seminar on the Topic 'A New Mathematical Model Describes the Dynamics of SARS-CoV-2 Infection in Caco-2 Cell Lines'

At the meeting, the head of the laboratory Galatenko A. V., leading researchers Staroverov V. M. and Alekseev D. V. reviewed their new work on mathematical modeling of infection.

The model developed by scientists for the first time explicitly takes into account the cellular resources necessary for the production of viral particles, which made it possible to accurately describe the effect of depletion of infected cells. The model was validated on the data of infection of Caco-2 cell lines with the SARS-CoV-2 base strain and the Delta strain.
