The start of the new academic year
On August 31, 2026, an organizational meeting for first-year students of the "Cellular and Molecular Biotechnology" and "Cognitive Neurobiology" degree programs was held at the HSE Faculty of Biology and Biotechnology
Alexander Grigoryevich Tonevitsky, Dean of the Faculty, delivered a welcoming address to the students. Academic supervisors Evgenia Vladislavovna Stepanova and Olga Vladimirovna Martynova also offered words of encouragement. Following the official proceedings, student mentors gave presentations introducing the first-year students to the structure and workings of the Higher School of Economics. A meeting was also organized at Muzeon Art Park, allowing the students and mentors to get to know one another better in an informal setting.
We are delighted to welcome the first-year students to the faculty and wish them every success in their studies!
