Immunology Lecture for High School Students as Part of the “Star Lectures” Program

In December, a lecture on adaptive immunity was held at the HSE Lyceum and delivered by university lecturer Roman Mungalov. The event was organized as part of the educational “Star Lectures” program and was intended for students of the Natural Sciences and Psychology track

The lecture focused on the fundamental principles of adaptive immune system function and the mechanisms underlying immune memory formation. Current concepts of immune processes and their significance for biology and medicine were also discussed.

During the meeting, students actively participated in the discussion and asked questions, which contributed to a deeper understanding of the topic.

Such events aim to foster interest in the natural sciences and to introduce high school students to contemporary areas of modern biology.
